IT’S OFFICAL!

I'm officially in the Disney College Program!!! I will be working in merchandising from August 13 to January 4! I am so beyond excited!

The application process for the Program seemed to go fast. I applied for the Program just over two weeks ago, on January 23. I did the basis name/birth date/social security number 20 questions application and waited to hear back from them. I submitted the first application at 3:00 PM and by 3:30 I received the email to set up a web-based interview. I was busy with work and school so it took me until the next night to do the web-based interview. I started it around 8:00 and was finished by 8:30 or so. The questions were answered on a scale of strongly agree to strongly disagree and ranged from question about your work ethic to if you are ok with standing in the hot sun. I anxiously awaited to hear back from them. Thankfully, the wait wasn't long at all. At 9:15 PM, my Blackberry dinged, signaling a new email. I checked it halfheartedly, not expecting a reply for Disney so soon, especially since it was at night. But then I saw that I had passed the web-based interview and they wanted to set me up for a phone interview. My interview was set for January 31 at 9:45 AM. At 9:40 AM on the interview day, my cell phone rang. I had barely slept the night before out of anticipation. My interview lasted about twenty minutes and it went great! The woman who interviewed me was really nice and so easy to talk to! After the interview, it was a long week. She said they would contact me within the next four weeks. One week and one day later, I got the wonderful email posted above! I am so excited! I cannot wait to start this amazing adventure! I hope you'll keep up with my Disney College Program experience!
